In June 1999, the Board of Governors established a task force to review the Rules and Procedures for Advisory Search Committees. At this time, the task force is seeking input from the community about the process for appointments to a second term; its question is outlined in a short document posted on the Web, http://www.concordia.ca/polplan/rulproc.html. To request a copy, please contact the Office of the Board of Governors and Senate, at 848-4814.
Submissions may be sent to Amely Jurgenliemk by e-mail, fax or mail. Brevity would be greatly appreciated. The deadline for receipt of submissions is Friday, 10 December 1999. Please note that anonymous submissions will not be forwarded to the task force.
