Concordia wins MBA Case Competition at home

For the first time in its 23-year history, the John Molson MBA International Case Competition was won by the home team. The event included teams from as far away as Finland and New Zealand, but top honours went to Concordia’s own John Molson School of Business. Second place went to the Rotman School of Business (University of Toronto) and third to the Haskayne School of Business (University of Calgary). More

Forgetfulness is normal as we age, say psychologists

Two psychology professors at Concordia have been helping seniors with their fears about Alzheimer’s disease, reassuring them that occasional slips of memory are not necessarily symptoms of dementia. Professors Natalie Phillips and Karen Li held a workshop recently at the Cummings Jewish Centre for Seniors to tell a group of over 50 participants that occasional forgetfulness is perfectly normal. They also offered some techniques to improve memory function. More
