New restaurant
near Loyola recommended I had an extraordinary lunch there. When I went back for dinner, the rack of lamb was tastier than the $40 racks of lamb Ive had downtown. The owner, Johnny Osman, was a chef at several good Montreal restaurants, including the Ritz-Carlton and Queen Elizabeth Hotels. He is apparently launching a table dhôte menu in February ranging from $11 to $17. He also does private parties and catering. La Brise is already popular with students during the day, but I hope more people will go at night, because its a really good restaurant and Id like to see it survive.
